Hm… this shot shows about 5 male, 6 female in the last panel (and the rest are too obscured). I think the other page is also roughly 50/50 split but they’re a lot looser, so it’s harder to tell :’D
I absolutely adore this comic. I saw it on an ad on another comic, and I was immediately intrigued. I’m really a fan of the technology, because even though it is futuristic, the technology seems realistic and believable. (things are still displayed on physical screens, and there’s no magical floating interfaces, for example.) The overall style is very nice too. Every character is very distinct, and there wasn’t a lot of confusion as to what was happening each panel. It’s so easy to get wrapped up into, the story, and the characters, I pretty much read it all in twenty minutes. (would have been less if I didn’t have to stop and appreciate the art) I’m very eagerly waiting for the next update!
Aaaa thank you SO much, I’m so happy you’re enjoying the comic so far! And I’m glad that the tech seems believable. I didn’t want to go too far into the future, just far enough that there’d still be a mix of old and new.
I hope you’ll enjoy the future updates! :> Thank you for the awesome feedback!

Did you intentionally pick the year of the blackout to be 2^11? Because that immediately stood out to me.

No particular reason outside of setting it 2 years in the story’s past. I can’t math so I’m afraid I’m not very clever with numbers.

Why wouldn’t the police work with them? The Switch have the man-power, the police have the expertise and legal back-up.
Michelle
That may be, though Switch and the police have a bit of an… antagonistic relationship.

Is it just me? It seems like the missing people images both on this page and back HERE, are mostly female. O.o
